These original Appalachian Art rustic birdhouses are made to be hung outdoors. These functional homes appeal to a variety of birds, including bluebirds, nuthatches, finches, and wrens. Each creation is handcrafted in an Appalachian Mountain workshop, using materials native to the area. The moss will stay green longer if placed in a shady area. This birdhouse can be hung in a tree, attached to a post, or just enjoyed as a decorative item. Look for wood screws to remove or open the cleanout piece and remove old nest materials.
